What happens before the consultation?
Our team will call you to confirm the booking and complete the payment. The team would like you to share information to help the doctors with your concerns. If you prefer to keep your discussion private with the doctor, we will respect your choice.
What happens at the consultation?
Our private general practitioner might suggest a range of actions such as additional tests, a private prescription, follow-up or a referral to a specialist. Your GP will thoroughly review and communicate the subsequent steps with you during your appointment.
What happens after consultation?
We will contact you as soon as the test results are back - this is normally within 2 working days. We will email you your clinic letter, in the meantime you can always call us for any queries.

FAQs
What information will I need to provide?
A brief summary of your medical background will greatly assist in an effective consultation. We kindly ask that you provide information about your current health conditions, any ongoing treatments, allergies, recent medical referrals, and other pertinent details. This information will be securely stored for future reference.
What if I am issued a prescription
Any prescription provided will be private, which means you will be responsible for covering the costs of your medication. The expense of medication can vary depending on the specific medicine and the pharmacy from which it is dispensed. Unlike the NHS, there is no standardized flat fee for medications.
* We may not be able to prescribe certain medications, including those that necessitate rigorous monitoring, medications with addictive properties, or specialized medications.

How do we support special needs or disabled customers?
- We extend a warm welcome to everyone. If you have specific requirements or needs, please inform us when making your appointment so that we can accommodate you with special arrangements or, if needed, schedule an extended appointment. In cases of restricted mobility, we may provide additional guidance on parking or building access. If you encounter communication challenges, we suggest bringing someone with you, such as a sign language interpreter, as we do not possess specialized equipment like hoists.
Will I be able to cancel or reschedule my appointment?
- If you decide to cancel your appointment with less than 24 hour's notice, you will be obligated to cover the full cost of the appointment. However, in cases where we initiate the cancellation within the specified time frame, no cancellation fee will be imposed.
Will a private consultation affect my NHS GP?
- You have the freedom to choose any GP, whether within the NHS or in private practice. However, we strongly advise that you continue your registration with an NHS GP in order to facilitate access to NHS healthcare services and medical emergencies.
- We recommend sharing information about your private consultation with your NHS GP. Failing to do so could potentially lead to incorrect treatment, as your NHS GP might not be aware of your private healthcare. However, if you prefer not to share this information with your NHS GP, we will honour your wishes and engage in a discussion with you about it.
